1. Who we are

Fixture360 is a football statistics and predictions platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights regarding that data. If you have any questions, contact us at privacy@fixture360.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — email address, display name, and hashed password when you register.
• Usage data — predictions you submit, fixtures you favourite, comments and chat messages you post, and notes you create.
• Notification preferences — which fixtures you choose to follow for goal and match alerts.
• Technical data — server-side logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the Fixture360 service.
• To send transactional emails (email confirmation, password reset).
• To send the daily fixture digest email only if you opt in via your account settings.
• To push real-time match notifications for fixtures you follow.
• To maintain a public predictions leaderboard using your chosen display name.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)

• Contract — processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interest — server logs for security and fraud prevention.
• Consent — optional daily digest emails (you can withdraw consent at any time in account settings).

5. Data retention

Your account and associated content (predictions, comments, notes) are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate statistics may be retained indefinitely.

6. Third-party services

• api-football.com — provides match, team, and league data. No personal data is shared with them.
• MailerSend — used to send transactional and digest emails. Your email address is transmitted to MailerSend solely for delivery purposes. See MailerSend's privacy policy.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. You can download or delete your data at any time from Account › Personal Data. To exercise any other right, email privacy@fixture360.com.

8. Cookies

Fixture360 uses strictly necessary cookies only: a session authentication cookie set when you log in, and an anti-forgery token cookie used to protect form submissions. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be notified by email to registered users. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
